Bancaja Foundation and Saggas collaborate to promote exhibition programming in Sagunto

The Bancaja Foundation’s Delegate Commission in Sagunto and the city’s regasification plant have renewed their collaboration agreement for another year to support exhibitions and cultural projects.

Alfonso Muñoz, president of the Bancaja Foundation’s Delegate Commission in Sagunto, and Santiago Álvarez, director of Saggas, renewed their collaboration with the signing of an agreement through which the regasification plant will support, as part of its corporate social responsibility policy, the cultural programming carried out by the Bancaja Foundation in Sagunto.

The agreement, valid until December 2025, outlines Saggas’s support for the development of exhibitions at the Glorieta Exhibition Hall, as well as the organization of guided tours, the publication of catalogues, and the support of cultural and artistic mediation initiatives that bring art closer to groups such as schoolchildren and the elderly in the Camp de Morvedre region.

The first exhibition linked to this agreement, Alquimia del alma by Marco Antonio Caparrós, will open on April 29. The exhibition explores the different pictorial stages of this Valencian artist and revisits his creative universes.

Alfonso Muñoz, president of the Bancaja Foundation’s Delegate Commission in Sagunto, thanked Saggas for its commitment, “which demonstrates its sensitivity toward culture as a tool for connection and knowledge, and helps bring high-interest projects to our region, in line with our belief in art and culture as a means for social transformation.”

Santiago Álvarez, director of Saggas, stated, “our commitment to Camp de Morvedre is one of the core values that defines Saggas, and one we are particularly proud of. In the field of culture, collaborating with a regional benchmark like the Bancaja Foundation is always synonymous with rigor, quality, and success.”
