09 Jan Awarded the Saggas’ VIII Environment Contest
On November 27th the jury of the Saggas’ VIII Environment Contest, composed of members from the Center for Environmental Education of the Valencian Community (CEACV), awarded the winners of this edition. Under the slogan “Change your habits, reduce your waste”, the contest, aimed at employees and their families, was dedicated to promoting initiatives to prevent food waste through photographs and drawings.
The winners have been:
- Children’s drawing: Belén with “Fruit box and canteen to the backpack”
- Over 11 years old: Lucía with “Garbage on a diet”
- Adults: Iñaki with “Recycling leftovers (lentils)”
In this edition, the awards have been products from fair trade. This initiative has been registered in the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) of 2019, whose goal was to prevent food waste.
