Sagunto regasification plant
Saggas currently has a storage capacity of 600,000 m3 of LNG in its four tanks and 1,000,000 m3 / hour in regasification. This production capacity would serve 32% of the national gas demand in 2016. The Sagunto regasification plant is a key energy infrastructure because of its strategic location in the Mediterranean arc and its proximity to producing countries in Africa and the Middle East.

In addition to energy production, the regasification plant has focused management on compliance with its zero accident policy and its environmental commitment. In line with this commitment to achieve sustainable economic activity, the company has voluntarily joined the Community Management and Environmental Audit Scheme of the European Union (EMAS), being the first regasification plant in Spain to achieve this accreditation. In addition, it is certified with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Safety and Health Management and the ISO 50001 Energy Management System.
