SAGUNTO

Sagunto is a city with a long industrial and cultural tradition.

The industrial tradition of the city was marked by the siting of the Blast Furnaces in 1926, which converted it into one of the poles of business development. Currently it continues to be an industrial focal point as it hosts one of the most dynamic industrial estates in Europe.

The cultural tradition of Sagunto has been marked by its position of being a strategic point for communications that has allowed it to be a pole of urban and industrial attraction since Roman times. As evidence of this, Sagunto preserves a valuable cultural heritage site, which includes the Castle of Sagunto and the Roman Theatre.
